Bonny has had a lifelong love of dogs and training. Bonny became involved in dog sports in 1996 to help find a job for her first Border Collie, Kaley. She has lived with and trained several breeds including English Springer Spaniels, Vizla, Anatolian Shepherd, Border Collies, Border Terriers, Kooikerhondje, and various mixes. Bonny was a veterinary technician for four years during and after college, where she met a multitude of breeds with all levels of temperaments and manners. She enjoys the challenges of teaching, and loves to help students completely and thoroughly understand the basic concepts being presented. Bonny has competed at the national level, and has earned a breed Championship and numerous titles in Agility, Obedience, Rally, and Flyball.
