Tracie Kolnsberg


After showing horses competitively (English hunter/jumpers) for 15 years, Tracie decided to join the fun of showing and training dogs. Tracie has over 14 years of experience in dog training. Tracie has owned and trained various breeds including Belgian Malinois, Labrador Retrievers, Collies and Catahoulas.  Tracie currently competes with her beloved Belgian Malinois’, Peanut and Jelly Bean, in AKC Obedience and Rally. 

Tracie is very proud to have earned her first OTCH on Peanut (her first dog to seriously train and compete with).

Accomplishments: Multiple Perfect 200 scores, AKC OTCH, OGM, UDX5, RAE10, RM and CGC titles; FFX Obedience Gold Award, AKC #1 Novice A Obedience Collie (2005) and AKC #4 Open A Obedience Collie in 2006.  FFX Obedience Platinum Award(s), AKC #1 Novice B Obedience Belgian Malinois in 2010 (#6 Novice B dog overall), and AKC #1 Open A Obedience Belgian Malinois in 2011 (#3 Open A dog overall).

Peanut was the AKC #1 overall Obedience Belgian Malinois in 2015 and 2016 (Front & Finish, First and Foremost Obedience rankings), and was inducted into the American Belgian Malinois Club Hall of Fame in 2016.

Jelly Bean was the AKC #1 Novice B Obedience Malinois in 2016 and the AKC #1 overall Rally dog (all-breed), in the USA back to back - 2016 and 2017!

Tracie is a certified CGC Evaluator and enjoys helping students learn about the CGC program.
