Sequencing + Handling

Friday, March 1st

9:30 am - 11:30 am

6/6 working spots available

unlimited audit spots available

We will work through several short sequences focusing on lines, handling and appropriate executions of crosses. Timing is everything! We are going to be working through some common jump combinations seen in all venues of agility. Get ready to do some front, rear and blind crosses! We will be focusing a lot on giving the dog very timely cues in order to create an "in sync" feeling while running agility, something we all strive for!

**Dogs should be able to complete short sequences with jumps and tunnels to benefit from this seminar**

Independent Weaves

Friday, March 1st

12:00 - 2:30 pm

6/7 working spots available

unlimited audit spots available

This seminar will highlight the necessary skills needed for independent weave entries and completion. We will work on building value for entries and commitment to the weave entry. Teams will be challenged with a variety of drills to improve weave performance. Teams should have been introduced to weaves to benefit from this workshop. This is a good workshop to audit, because participants will receive lots of homework and ways to build on foundational skills.

Handling Essentials

handling workshop for all agility dogs & humans

Saturday, September 23rd

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

6/6 working spots available

unlimited audit spots available

Whether you are new to the sport or you have been competing for years, handling is a skill that needs continuous practice to optimize the performance of a team. In this hybrid seminar, we will be focusing on the person's understanding of handling as much as the dog. We will start by breaking down handling into its most essential elements without your dog. Once the skills are fluent, we’ll bring out your dog and put the handling skills into sequence.

**all levels welcome - dogs should have already been introduced to at least a few jumps and tunnel/training concepts to benefit from this seminar. We will only be working jumps and tunnels**
